Muse Bridal Studio’s mission is to offer all brides the best wedding shopping experience from the moment they walk through the door for the first time, right through to the day they pick up their bridal dress for their big day. We offer different services beyond just selling bridal gowns.
We stock dresses designed by some of the best gown designers in the country. Our friendly bridal consultants offer one-hour appointments where you can try on different dresses and ask any questions you may have about the designs.

How We Got Started
Since relocation in 2019 to the historical Bass building Muse has gone from strength to strength. Our beautiful studio is full of historic charm, with an urban loft feel and is one of the most beautiful bridal studios in Manitoba.
Filled with exquisite natural daylight we can showcase the gowns and brides to their fullest potential.

Kari Hammersley
OWNER
Hello and welcome to our website, my name is Kari Hammersley. After retiring from a long career in healthcare I took a huge step into business ownership and the bridal industry.
My intent with the business is to grow a well known, well respected store that is a destination for all brides to find high end, stylish gowns to suit all women. I enjoy every appointment and it is a real honour to be able to help our customers find their dream dresses, whether that be bridal, grad or Mother of bride and formal wear. I love interacting with our varied clientele and seeing the joy in their faces when they find “the one”.
When I am not working, which is rarely, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling and listening to music.
Janice Roach

I have been a member of the Muse team since the beginning! I started out in the wedding industry in 2008 as a consultant and a seamstress. I am married to the most wonderful man, and have been for 30 years.
I love being able to help brides, grads, and moms find their dresses. I also feel very honoured when I am able to help my clients with alterations and custom changes to their dresses.
I am happy to welcome all of our past and future clients. Looking forward to seeing you at Muse Bridal!

I have been a part of the Muse team since November of 2020. Even though I only work part-time, I definitely enjoy working with this group of amazing ladies. But the best part of my job is that I absolutely LOVE helping all of the beautiful women who come in looking for their dream wedding, grad, bridesmaid or even Mother of the bride/groom dresses!
Seeing your faces light up with pure excitement brings me joy, and seeing a few tears of joy definitely pulls on the old heart strings. Thank you for being such incredible clients here at Muse.

I work part time here at Muse Bridal. I have been married for almost 27 years and have three young-adult children.
I was one of those little girls that dreamed about weddings and special events. Now I have the privilege to work with so many inspiring women in making those dreams come true. Getting to work at a bridal shop is an experience unlike any other. Seeing a bride or graduate say yes to her dress and be thrilled makes it all worth it.
I love to hear about where your venue is, what your colours are, and other wedding details. It is so rewarding to show the bride that I really care about her wedding day that she has been dreaming about. Because I truly do! I look forward to meeting you and spending some time finding you the perfect dress!
Carmen Levesque

I have always had a passion for sewing ever since I took my first evening sewing class when I was 12. Since then, I have been sewing wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses as well as doing alterations for entire bridal parties.
I proudly made my daughter’s wedding gown which was very special to us both.
After moving to Manitoba in 2010 I was the tailor at DND Shilo military base for several years. In 2017 my biggest accomplishment was to tailor the uniforms of 90 soldiers from Shilo to form the Queen’s Guard in London England and also the uniforms of the 40 member marching band from Edmonton.
There is no better feeling than to see the satisfied smile on the faces of the clients after my work is done!
BRIDAL is definitely my passion.
Dawn Meek

As a hairstylist for 21 years, I have played a small role in people's special occasions, so I’m very excited to help be another small piece of that puzzle, in the bridal industry!
After owning a salon for 10 years, I decided to start looking into a new passion. I love working with people to meet their needs and have a whole lot of fun along the way getting to know each other.
Quality time with friends and family is my jam. I love reading, watching movies, and being active in sports, fitness and nature. I’ve been married to my best friend Lyle for 17 years and we have two beautiful daughters, McKenzie and Jovie.
I look forward to helping you feel special and beautiful for your special day!
